Constitution Day -- Open Thread

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

The Constitution of the United States of America is a piece of parchment upon which the noblest words ever to have been written have been placed. Limiting the reach of government and clearly defining its role is a majestic achievement unequalled in human history.

Too bad the Constitution is all but ignored in the corridors of power today when power finds it inconvenient.

Admittedly, I'd rather be stuck with this than "Tiptoe Through The Tulips."
