The Buzz Is Going

Eric Pfieffer, who I have gotten to know through occasional emails, has manned The Buzz at National Review Online since the first part of this year. In that time, Eric has provided great news, good scoops, and lots of classic photos of the Sheehan experience, among other things.
NRO has decided to retire the Buzz. Hopefully, they will realize they meant to merge Bench Memos with our own Confirm Them (leaving us in charge of course) and not scrap the Buzz. But, if they don't, we wish Eric well and hope to keep seeing him around the blogosphere.

at rlowry@nationalreview.com and ask him to find a home for Eric in the Corner.
I agree with Jeremy. National Review does have way too many blogs. I shot Kathryn Jean Lopez and Rich Lowry an email yesterday protesting The Buzz's demise, as I know many others have, but didn't get a response. I hope they wise up and keep Eric around.
but if we write to Rich about the quality of Erics work, he may get to stay on...

With all due respect to the folks at NR, they just have too many "blogs." Mr. Pfieffer should be welcomed into The Corner and continue to do exactly what he's been doing.
