Anything new??? by Whacker77

Erick, what's going on with this nomination?  Last Thursday, you mentioned a rumor that senators were lobbying for a withdrawl.  Is that still happening or did Bush tell them to drop dead?  What's the "source have to say"?

Just when you think you have heard it all.... This comes along.

Kind of puts new meaning to the whole juvenile "Tune in Tokyo" thing.

Spot the liberal by chickyraptor

...So I was watching the new Cream Albert Hall Reunion DVD (great, BTW), when during "Crossroads" I noticed someone familiar-looking in the crowd.

I rewound it a bit and realized it was Christiane Amanpour.  Later on I noticed Sean Penn and Queen's Brian May in the audience as well.  I also noticed a few other people who were familiar but I couldn't come up with their names.

If you get this DVD, see how many liberals you can spot!

The last two polls have Kaine taking the lead on Kilgore.  Kilgore which had a 6-8 pt lead in a Red State only two months ago must have run a horrible campaign. Kaine is no "Warner" but it looks as if he will win.

So get ready for more press coverage of the end of the Republicans with Kaine and Corzine probably winning.

Psssshhh by Tim Saler

I don't know, there's still a few weeks left. Kilgore could still come back and win.

If Kaine is trending up over Kilgore, Forrester is trending up over Corzine. I would be surprised, very much so, if Kilgore and Forrester both lost. I would think at least one will win, judging by how the polls are trending right now.

That being said, I just got done stating that there are still a few weeks left. We'll see what happens between now and then.

Kilgore by patrickhenry

Check your sources because the two polls were also well within the margin of error. There also appears to be some irregularities in the internals of the Survey USA poll. Check it out on their website. Right now the governors race in Va is essentially dead even with Kilgore leading in the money race.

I would agree that Kilgore has lost the lead but this race is even at best for Kaine. Don't underestimate the rural vote in Va. This area does not show up well in polling data. Also polls showed Mark Warner leading by a much larger margin than he won with in 2001. Kaine will need a huge win in Fairfax to shore up this election. I am not sure he has this yet.

As for NJ it was never even a race.

We all know Forrestor was a long shot, but the press has made a big deal that Corzine has lost much of his lead. They will spin it as a big win for Corzine.

Steelers suck. Bears rule. by Pejman Yousefzadeh

But Happy Birthday anyway, your Dark Lordship.

And, thank the Lord for small Cardinal miracles!!!

Game 6 baby!

And thank the almighty for reality TV.  Since the Amazing Race and Survivor are back on, I don't have to stress on the sad state of affairs of the republic so much right now.  :)

It's been far too long, my friend.  Good luck at Harvard.

You know, not like, kill, or assasinate Pat, but get him off the air so he doesn't say stupid stuff like this.

Not that anyone with a brain can take him seriouly, but he's an embarassment to the entire religious conservative movement.

I guess he keeps the rest of us sane, though </sigh&gt.

Although very well written.  More information here.
