"It is over. Bush won. Ohio and Florida are secure."

Well, let's make sure that happens. Go vote people.

Get out there. If you are in the Florida Panhandle or Ohio, get your butts to the polls. If you've voted, haul your neighbors.

Update [2004-11-2 18:59:39 by Erick]: My sources are independent GOP Pollsters who have seen the exit polling data and weighted it as well as Bush/Cheney folks who are doing their own detailed surveys of the data coming out.

It could all be BS, but they have grown from cautiously confident to confident.

Prove them right: Get your butt to the polls or the phones if you've already voted.

What sources?  Dan Rather or GOP insider?  We've had enough anonymous "sources" today.  Please be more specific.

But very confident about Florida.

I'n the bag? by eddiebear

Hate to ask, but how high are your sources?

My sources by Erick

Several pollsters who have seen the exit polls properly weighted based on turnout and insiders from the Bush campaign who are doing their own high level surveys of today's electorate.

Yes Please by corky

We're dying here.  You insiders are no fun!

Early results:

Bush 62-38 (He won 59-41 in 2000)

Northup in CD-3 (supposed to be close)

Northup 61 Miller 36 with 23% of vote in.  Local TV station has called it for Northup

Cd-4 (open seat)

Davis over Nick Clooney (George's Dad)

53-47 with 19% in

Senate Mongiardo over Bunning

55-44 with 17% in.

For the presidential and senate race, don't forget that the polls in Western Ky haven't closed, and that is where Bunning and Bush will do best.

cause I have had that bad feeling for 2 weeks now that he's toast, and frankly its gotten worse every day.

By the way... have these guys considered all the early and absentee voting?

Thanks by eddiebear

Thanks. I hope you're right. Any news?!?

I like what I read here, but then I take a look at David Gregory's report of "discouragement" as voiced by top advisors at the White House.  What's up?

MSNBC by eddiebear

It's David Gregory and (MS)NBC. What do you expect?

absentee in FL by Seth A

I've heard that they won't count the absentees in FL until about Thursday. However, they pretty much know that Bush has a 150k advantage in those votes since they are received by party affiliation. IOW, they know the party of the voter, though they haven't counted the vote itself.
